Will the Mrs need to get a TB tets done as part of an application to settle in the UK? the posts on here suggest so but the UKBA site does not mention anything that I have found.

My wife had 2 more tests when she arrived in the UK but at least the NHS paid for them. Talk about over kill. No wonder the NHS bill is high.

In our case she had to visit a 'clinic' at Heathrow airport on arrival for registering UK address Then visit to a local hospital for follow-up but as soon as the nurse could see a vaccination scar on her arm that was accepted.

My wife had a x ray at the airport and again at the hospital a few weeks later. The hospital said that they didn't trust the Immigration Dept (or the hospital in Bankok) it would seem.

English Test 3k?? Seems to be 7000 baht everywhere I've seen.
