Wet weather poncho?

Featured Replies

I need a wet weather poncho for driving on my motosai during the raining season. I am xxx lg guy. Where can I purchase one? Any suggestions? Thx.

Go local.

THB25 at most 711's.

North side of the moat shortly before you get to the NE corner you can see them hanging in the shop. They have buttons, zippers, and a reflective stripe on the back. I'm not sure just how xxx lg they go but mine is roomy.

Along the North side of the moat, closer to east end. Do yourself a favour and pay for a decent one. Those 7-11 raincoats seem to come apart quite easily.

Thx.

God these always fall apart so fast for me, even then ones that seem thicker and stronger - the threading just falls apart.

I have been here so long that last year I just ordered mac-in-a-sac pants and jacket (search "mac in a sac") which are great. They don't ship to Thailand though, so had to ship to someone else who ships to you here. Super thin and fits in ur bike compartment easily,.

Most plastic rain gear rips apart easily at the seams it seems, especially while riding a motorcycle.

Found the perfect rain suit selection at reasonable prices at the police/military/outdoors supply shop just south of Chang Phuek Gate, west side, across and towards the gate from the soccer pitch.
