Gold Shop robbery suspect caught in Pattaya Hospital Toilet

PATTAYA:--A 27 year old woman attempted to hide in a Hospital toilet after she is thought to have stolen a gold bracelet from a nearby gold shop worth 33,000 Baht.

On Friday Afternoon Police were called to the Tong Suk Yawalat Gold Shop on Pattaya Second Road close to the entrance of Soi 7 and spoke with Khun Orathai aged 36, a shop assistant, who described how the woman came into the shop and appeared interested in buying the gold bracelet. She was allowed to inspect the bracelet but as soon as she had the item in her hand she ran out of the shop and towards the Pattaya Memorial Hospital located nearby.

Police and Police Volunteers converged on the location and found the woman inside the women’s toilet located on the ground floor. She refused to open a cubicle door she had locked behind her and was told that unless she came out Police would break-down the door and arrest her.
