It takes more than reading a few books or going on an occasional retreat. Ajahn Tiradhammo talks on some of the lessons that one learns with consistent application in 40 years as a Buddhist monk in the forest monasteries. _____________________________________ At the beautiful new Aetas Hotel Lumpini 1030/4 Rama 4 Road, Thungmahamek, Satorn Bangkok 10120 Tel: +662 618 9555 see map below Event is free of charge, and no need for reservation – just show up with your friends. _____________________________________ …ภาษาไทย ด้านล่าง… We are glad to announce that senior Canadian monk Ajahn Tiradhammo will be in Bangkok, and will give a public talk on Thursday 11th July 2013 at the beautiful new Aetas Hotel Ajahn Tiradhammo gave a talks for us in 200, 2010 and 2013 which were very well received. He was a direct student of the great Luang Phor Chah back in 1975, just after he ordained as a monk. Later he moved to help with the new temples in the UK under Ajahn Sumedho, and then became abbot of the temple in Switzerland, where he lived for a long time. More recently he moved to become abbot of Bodhinyanarama Temple in New Zealand, before his current semi-retired role. Ajahn Tiradhammo is a warm and cheerful Bhikkhu, and always an interesting speaker. Now ordained for nearly 40 years, he has lots of experience with all aspects of Buddhism. Newcomers will certainly find the talk easy to follow, and for experienced meditators … do not miss this chance. http://www.littlebang.org/?p=8967
