In the Chiang Mai vicinity has anyone seen metal home workshop shelving and pegboard for sale in a retail store.

The termites just had my wooden shelving for lunch and I've got a lot of stuff now on the floor.

The floor space is 8' X 10'.

I've been to the big box stores to no avail.

There is a metal shelf/racking shop on the North side of the moat as you are heading East, it's just before the big food hall on the NE corner. They may have what you need.

Larger building supply places sell L shaped steel with pre-punched holes which you can cut to length and bolt together to make racks on which you can lay plywood shelves. The bolts and fittings are sold at the same places.

Try Makro, they have put together shelving. Chiangmai - Hod Rd 2nd floor near the down escalator (moving platform?)

Homepro has some and I would imagine Global would also have shelving..

Makro. High quality metal shelving sufficient for workshop or kitchen. At Makro on 108 below Big C, upstairs.

Global and Home Pro have residential book shelves which will work but very costly.

I'm off to MACRO and the NE corner of the moat today.

I've been to G3 Auctions in Lamphun a couple of times when they have had high quality commercial type steel shelving. I don't think it is at every auction though so you would have to check.

Follow up..............Bought at Makro.....two units.......#1 45cm wide by 90cm long #2 45cm wide by 120cm long......high gloss black painted steel....... 4 adjustable levels......#1 1300 baht #2 1800 baht .........works for me.
