PATTAYA:--Police and rescue workers were called to the front of a 24 hour convenience store in the early hours of Wednesday to assist a Burmese man who had fallen 4 floors onto the road.

The man, known only as, Mr. Jor, works for the Welcome Plaza Hotel located on Pattaya Second Road. He lives in the staff accommodation block at the back of the Hotel, which backs-on to Soi 15 and is located above a 7-Eleven convenience store.

Damage to the roof of the store confirms that Mr. Jor fell from the 4-storey accommodation block. He sustained a serious head injury and initially was thought to be dead. He was still alive and taken to Banglamung Hospital where Doctors are currently fighting to keep him alive.
