PATTAYA:--Area officials continued their four-year war against South Pattaya landowners blocking a vital storm-drainage canal, again inspecting the area, citing offenders and making yet more threats to remove encroaching structures.

Banglamung District Chief Sakchai Taengho joined Pattaya Deputy Mayor Verawat Khakhay at the South Pattaya Water Treatment Center June 25 for the canal inspection, an annual exercise that has proven largely futile since 2009.

Maybe its time for all government officials to go to hospital and have a backbone inserted.

So many threats to do something then forget about it.

What is the main requirement to get a government position, besides Being Spineless

Looks like a nice place for a swim! Why do they need to find the hotel owner? Just bring in the equipment and remover the obstruction. Why do they need to discuss the obstructions with someone? Maybe just a discussion about payments, and the hell with flood damage.
