AngThong
I have an AIS One-2-Call SIM. It works fine for calls and e-mail/light surfing (I use the 1 GB package, mostly e-mails only) but whenever I get an MMS from a friend in Europe, it won't download the image. I never get MMS's inside Thailand so no idea if the same would apply there... Any ideas what might be amiss and how I could fix it? I'd like to see the images. lomatopo
MMSes are sometimes challenging to send/receive between operators, even within the same country. I assume you have configured the appropriate MMS settings? What sort of phone do you have? Assuming you both have smartish phones there are a number of applications which make it relatively easy to send text, pictures, videos. WhatsApp! is but one such application. There are other photo sharing and uploading options as well.
AngThong
Hmm, thanks. MMS was set up when I got the SIM from AIS. We do both have smartphones. I'll have a look at the various apps available, thanks.

Somtamnication
You need to enable data to download the mms pic.
