Just a little advance friendly reminder for those of us that imbide in the spirits and visit the entertainment venues on a daily basis. All bars will be closed on 22 July and most likely on 23 July for the beginning of Buddhist lent. The large markets will also not sell any booze.

Just go to the little 'tucked away' Thai bar/restaurants, and a lot of mom and pop shops will usually sell it too. But I don't usually go out more than once a week anyway so certainly won't affect me I doubt.
