Man caught with gun during incident at North Pattaya Restaurant

PATTAYA:--A 20 year old man was caught with a loaded gun at a North Pattaya restaurant early on Monday Morning but claimed he was in possession of the weapon to ensure his friend did not use it for unlawful purposes.

Khun Tirayut was at the restaurant with friends when they came into conflict with a group of men. A verbal altercation soon escalated into a physical confrontation. Khun Tirayut claimed that he was aware his friend was in possession of a gun and that he would use the weapon if provoked. He decided to take the weapon and keep it until the situation had been resolved.
