Best deal on a new triband GSM phone in BKK

I need a phone that works in multiple countries (as I travel a lot). I don't need any fancy fancies (like camera phone or internet/bluetooth) - I just need a simple tool for communication.

My question is where is the best shopping area for this type of phone in BKK and how much does it cost (in Thai baht). I'm looking for an honest price).

I was guaranteed at the Vietnamese mall in Houston, Texas, that they could sell me such a phone. I didn't buy it. I don't know.
