Holidays coming up

Featured Replies

There is a long weekend holiday coming up very soon

Is there any good suggestions between Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai of a good family resort with a good pool for kids and such ?

Be great if the hotel or resort is near to a nearby lake or picnic ground for a day outing

No international brand needed as we are easy travelers ...thanks !

Forgot to mention we are driving ...

The Diamond Park Inn in Chiang Rai has a decent pool and it's not too pricey. It's less than ten minutes walk to the night market so well situated down a quiet side soi.

You could try the Rimkok in ChiangRai. about 1200 a room with breakfast on agoda. Fair buffet for 160 baht good pool nice grounds by the river. They have always struck me as friendly when I have eaten there. About 5km from town. (buffet is exensive enough not gormet but adequate with a few nice pickings.)

The Nest in Chang Dao if you drive that way to Chiang Rai

Try the Siam Triangle Hotel, with swimming pool and hotel overlooking the Mekong river....if you are a member of ' mygroupon.co.th ' they have a promotion for 1899 baht going on....thumbsup.gif

THB 1500 for superior room via their website.

But somewhat beyond Chiang Rai.
