Free, lightweight Alternative to PowerDVD/WinDVD

I'm looking to play proper DVDs on my computer using a decent DVD player program. What I don't want is a really bloated (oversized) shareware DVD program. Is there a good alternative to WinDVD or PowerDVD. Even if it's not free (but really lightweight and good), I'd be interested.

thx

Media player classic (MPC). It's free, it's simple, it's small, and it plays nearly everything. If you get it with the Klite mega codec pack, you can play quicktime and real audio files with it.

yes, but i already use vLC (and it doesn't automatically play DVDs). I have to manually click on each VOB file seperatly and I can't even use the DVD menu.

If you do 'File- Open Disc' and point it at your DVD drive it will play DVDs with all the menu facilities.
