20 Teenage Street Racers Nabbed, 12 Bikes Seized By Police Officers

Police officers were able to detain 20 teenage street races who are widely known to cause accidents and loud noises late in night.

PATTAYA – July 13, 2013 [PDN]; A group of 20 teenagers were arrested after locals had complained that they causing loud noises at Sukhumvit Rd. near the Thepprasit intersection. As soon as police responded to the complaint over 20 police officers and volunteers were deployed to the scene to arrest the troublemakers.

When the racers saw the police approaching the scene, they immediately went on their bikes and escaped, some even abandoned their motorbikes.

Thais and FERANGS on Motorcycles are more often than not, a MENACE to society. Would seem they have no idea of any road rules, they speed, the lane-hop, they ride the wrong direction and many don't know what a Helmet is for, except maybe a decoration to go in their shopping basket on the handlebars. As for INDICATORS.... er.... what do you want, can't everyone read my mind? Simple answer: they don't have a mind to read, they are simply brainless clowns.

PLEASE Mr./Mrs./Ms POLICE OFFICER..... get these lunatics OFF the roads. Fine them, confiscate their bikes, do whatever you need to just make them understand that they are obliged to show responsibility.

Has anybody else noticed news stories on tv of late about some fool in India who is producing a new high-tech Motor Scooter???

Yes, it is Electric and that may be, all to the good for our environment....BUT.......... the Big Selling Point according to this bright business Guru in "Oh my Goodness Land," India is that there is a Special Place between the handlebars for the rider to place his/her SMART PHONE so they can use it to follow Road Maps, talk, maybe watch Thai Cartoons....all while riding. Can only hope the Thai Government will PROHIBIT the importation of these stupid machines. Perhaps we can start lobby members of the Thai Parliament to get on the case, or am I having a "Pipe Dream?"

It wont take long for some Thai knock off company to produce something like this. No need to make a new bike design, just an attachment to hold the phone.

Although bikes in general, are a pain in the ass, these gangs are a different thing, so dont confuse the two.
