ShopBoy Posted July 13, 2013 Share Posted July 13, 2013 to use the vinegar to make buttermilk with milk the vinegar in the supermarket label as 5% Distill Vinegar. is this the right vinegar for it or should be other type ? i also saw a gallon type vinegar with label 100% distill vinegar whats the difference. For those who might not know, buttermilk is the liquid left after the butter is churned. Most so-called buttermilk you buy nowadays at least in the USA - is actually cultured skim milk.
