UbonOz
AA has released a new route from DMK which appears to start in October. REP does not appear in their schedule yet when you check the drop down box. Fares are from THB79 plus taxes which are close to THB1,000, one way/person. Fares are available from today. Nice to have some more competition on this route.

IsaanUSA
This is great news, however at one flight daily, I bet it won't hurt Bangkok Airways too bad. FD2850 DMK – REP 10.30 - 11.30 Daily FD2851 REP – DMK 12.15 – 13.15 Daily Thai AirAsia CEO Tassapon Bijleveld, said: “this year, AirAsia is focusing on the Indochina market as it heads toward the formation of the ASEAN Economic Community, or AEC. We have been looking for new routes and identified for a long time Siem Reap as a destination that would enhance our network. The city will be our sixth stop in Indochina for us once it begins on 1 October, 2013, following after Yangon, Mandalay, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh and Phnom Penh”. http://www.traveldailynews.asia/news/article/52878/collapsing-monopoly-for-bangkok-airways Edited July 18, 2013 by IsaanUSA
