Long Weekend Holidays?

Featured Replies

I know the traditional Asalha Puja holiday is only on the 22nd but I read on the Visa forum that the 23rd is also a Government Closure Holiday. So does this mean that this weekend is a long weekend as in Monday AND tuesday now?

Just wondering for traffic, traveling purposes what to expect. I know all the traditional holiday have had new ones added each year etc. so not sure any more.

I posted here: http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/653863-immigration-closed-22-and-23-july/

that Immigration is closed on Monday (22nd) and Tuesday (23rd) also the 7/11 - Bars - Big C etc etc will not be selling Beer and Alcohol on these 2 days.

So yes it's a 4 day holiday, and traffic will be horrendous around town !

Yes I saw your post but didn't know if the 4 days was for a Thailand Public holiday of if 1 day was just a Government holiday but thanks for that anyways.
