Hi i sold my car for 200 000 Baht cause me and my wife wanna go back to europe.

How can i change that money now in euro? Do anyone have any idea? Or do someone know if a transfer to my german bank account is also possible so that it will arrive back in euro?

You'll get the best exchange rates here (approx 4900 Eur for 200 000 Baht) - the banks will rape you with their rates, specially if fx done at the European end.

When leaving Thailand, make sure that you and your wife are carrying less than the max allowed 20 000 USD (or equivalent) cash each.

Say hallo to Angela Merkel, and please turn off the lights on your way out.

For peace of mind just do a wire transfer from a Thai bank to your own bank in Germany .I send money back all the time from Thailand to my bank in the Irish republic .

K bank charge me B700 for this and i make sure its maked on the form that the money exchange is done in Thailand before transfer to Europe .You get a far better rate that way .

How does Super Rich Money Exchange compare to SK? Anyone used both?

I've always used SK and been happy with their rates but would be interested to hear about this other place.

The service is called SWIFT.

Inform with your Euro bank what the BIC code is, and markt that code on the transfer form, or if you do this electronic, on the international transfer.

The Thai bank will also need the BIC code .He can find this code on his German Bank statements ,or internet a/c .
