we need a noticeboard made or supplied which is

internal

about 200cm wide x 100cm high

lockable

It needs to look pretty nice ie not industrial or aluminium.

I have found a source of cork tiles in CM so they are available, about 6mm thick which should do.

So maybe it could be cork backed with dark oak frame, if necessary metal sliding tracks could be set in the wood frame.

Anyone has any ideas

1. A supplier?

2. Design?

3. Does glass officially need to be tempered? this would up the cost quite a lot.

If anyone knows a large nice noticeboard please say where so we can have a look.

Maybe one of the local trophy shops? I suppose they can back one of their nicer display cases with your corkboard...

glass does not have to be tempered, but it will be much safer. May even want to consider plexi.

I have been trying to find Cork Tiles for some time in Chiang Mai and it would be wonderful if you could possibly let me know where you have found them.

I have seen on the net sometimes laminated is used abroad.

I think 6mm regular glass will do fine, it's used for table tops here which get a lot more beating.
