11/28 days on my juicing detox and this is looking pretty awesome... I bet I could make it thru half a pizza that's it! How big are these pizza?

If they are like the ones they serve at their lunches then they about the size of a standard side plate.

OK a plate size pizza I could probably eat 3 or 4, but that's it. Darn! Well maybe I'll go enjoy a normal pizza for the sake of eating when I'm back in CM :) how is the pizza here? Italian, American style or UK style?

Sounds interesting let us know the results.

As for the eating contest well I stay away from things like that I probably wouldn't win but I would sure eat more than I should. I even stay away from Buffets except a vegetarian one.

Don't know what style it is but the best by far to date is Dukes.

Nah, can't be havin' the way the dukes cut them into squares.

I didn't pick up on who's making the pizzas. that could be important, particularly since most of the pizzas here ..................

even so, I can eat one entire pizza of local size. after that, I wouldn't bother with an extra slice.

who thinks up this crap?

That is indeed borderline blasphemy.

( I've said that before, but didn't expect anyone to agree! wink.png )

I wonder if a fat turd kid who happens to be the son of some copper / politician (insert whichever corrupt official you want in here), will win?

Usually it's not obese people who win speed eating contests.

Is it common practice in America to cut a pizza into squares?

Not to the best of my knowledge. In British Columbia I have never seen them cut into squares always triangles.

But Dave is from California and maybe it is common there. Any one here from another country with further Info?

Yep. In Australia it's cut into wedge shapes (ie like you cut a round cake). However if the pizza is large, such as party sized, it's cut into roughly square shapes.

That's true. For many years it was the Japanese who would win those contests in the USA. They were always very thin. I saw the other day on the news that the winner of eating massive amounts of Nathan's hot dogs in New York? on the 4th of July this year was a thin Thai woman.

No, but in one region of Italy the pizza is rectangular and the slices are cut into squares. Pizza sold in the USA like that usually means the owners family came from that region.
