Whenever I come to Thailand, I buy a new prepaid 12Call SIM card.

Although the voice-mail feature is not activated, from time to time I get notices of incoming voice-mail.

At present I have 12 of them. The problem is that I can't clear these messages, so my phone keeps complaining.

Presumably I have to activate voice mail in order to clear these messages.

A related problem is that the code to access voice mail (programmed in the 12Call SIM) seems to be wrong, as whenever I try to answer a voice-mail message I get "the number you have dialed is not assigned". Why they would have the wrong number programmed in I don't know.

I don't actually want voice-mail as my friends all know to contact me via e-mail.

Any ideas what is going on please?

You can cancel your voice mail service by dial *141 and follow the prompt. then divert all incoming call when u not available to 081900975 Call Back service. (its the sms alert when someone tried to call you)
