July 23, 201312 yr Here is a disturbing look into the future brought courtesy of Obamanomics, from a British newspaper. As the article so rightly observes it's little wonder the president would rather talk about Trayvon Martin. http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/danielhannan/100227375/obamanomics-is-turning-america-into-detroit-ayn-rands-starnesville-come-to-life/ Look at this description of Detroit from today’s Observer: What isn’t dumped is stolen. Factories and homes have largely been stripped of anything of value, so thieves now target cars’ catalytic converters. Illiteracy runs at around 47%; half the adults in some areas are unemployed. In many neighbourhoods, the only sign of activity is a slow trudge to the liquor store.

Not much different the world over really
July 23, 201312 yr Cameron followed right wing economics, the kind of idiocy Paul Ryan loves, and their economy is MUCH WORSE than the current USA economy. So much for right wing economic dogma.
July 24, 201312 yr Cameron followed right wing economics, the kind of idiocy Paul Ryan loves, and their economy is MUCH WORSE than the current USA economy. So much for right wing economic dogma. Granted the British economy is pretty horrible, but to compare, you need to put like with like; there is not much similarity except that they both spend too much money.... and not particularly wisely.
July 24, 201312 yr It is a proven fact that loss of tax revenue is what put Detroit on it's heels and tax paying white flight took place after the black race riots so they basically shot themselves in the foot.
July 24, 201312 yr Fifty consecutive years of Democratic Party and union boss leadership didn't help.
