Mahseer
A mate just found out that only Royal Thai Embassy in London can issue/authorise non imm O visa. He applied at Birmingham as he always has and was advised that his details need to be forwarded to London and authorisation to issue the visa could take as long as 3 weeks. I guess outright refusal would come sooner. Apparently the new rules came into effect 2 weeks ago. Just a heads up folks.
trucking
With reference to OP, how old is your mate and what were his grounds for applying for a multiple entry non immigrant visa ?
stoneyboy
Actually there was a pinned topic on TV some months ago regarding a change in circumstances when applying for non o visa based on having a Thai child I believe but not being married to the mother, only having fathers name on birth certificate no longer enough.
