EXHIBITION: "EVERYDAY LIFE"
CENTRAL AIRPORT PLAZA, 2ND FLOOR (near the glass lifts) - July 26 - 28th 2013.

The U.S. Embassy to Thailand’s 180th anniversary exhibition features 90 photographs of the US by Thai photographers and 90 of Thailand by Americans. It opened this evening and there are some really great pictures by both professionals and amateurs, including such notable photographers as Steve McCurry (National Geographic Afghan Woman), Benya Hegenbarth and even one of our own CMPG members . This show comes from Bangkok and continues its run in LA - don't miss it!

I know it looks empty. I had to wait until everyone was off listening to the speeches to get a shot where you could see any of the pictures....

The Girl In The Photograph.

Yes, definitely an excellent exhibition. So many of the photos had a cleverness that was evident only after studying them, like you would a great painting. Also, very well organized and mounted. The impact of some of the photos was increased when compared to the others placed nearby. Well worth the trip!

I always miss the good stuff!
