Important stipulations for being a Thai Visa Forum member..

It has come to my attention that the established forum "rules" are missing some important stipulations for being a thai visa forum member.

One rule in particular seems to be to ensure that if ever you post up a thread, you must log in to respond, thank, and bestow great appreciation for responses ASAP, otherwise you will be met with distain. Woe betide you actually dont have time or even inclination (inconceivable!). Or just needed replies and then off doing whatever it is you needed advice on.

So anyway, what are the seemingly unspoken rules of Thaivisa forum you can think of?

#1: In order to be valid considered member, you must regularly log in, or better yet logged at all times via mobile or other device.

Must have been ripped off for a house and pension by said farang women,

No Thai language skills required,

Must have a, if the locals want to talk to me they should learn English mentality,

Must drink chang beer,

Even better, you dont need to live here but know everything about the place, you learned this from your teelak from Booleelam and the other jaded farang misfits in the Hansum man bar.

Must be a foreigner who knows more about Thailand than the Thais.

And speaks/understands no Thai and can barely write a coherent thought in English, but figures he's innately superior to any Thai and complains if any Thai he deals with isn't fluent in English.

Knows all about how the Thai police do (or don't) operate from reading equally ill-informed blather about the police on TV and watching many episodes of CSI.

Goes ballistic at any erroneously perceived slight or anything misunderstood as an insult, which immediately is turned into an "all of US" versus "all of THEM" rant, but thinks it is the Thais who are overly concerned about "saving face."

After staying in Thailand for years and years, still can't fathom the difference between a visa and an extension-of-stay or between a 90 day report and an extension-of-stay or between Immigrations and a consulate/embassy.

Believes bad things happen only in Thailand and would never happen in the west, thus demonstrating a woeful lack of knowledge about what goes on back on his/her native soil.

Spending lazy days in shorts and a stained singlet, obviously barefoot, creeping around an old laptop awashed with Chang beer, firmly believing in superstition, but denying it in public, and, of course, being always right.

I wear socks with sandals to prevent sunburn, I am very light skinned.

Blame all Thais for everything that's gone wrong in their life ever since they arrived in LOS rather than their own innate stupidity or inability to function as a normal member of the human race.
