Pattaya to Khon Kaen

Featured Replies

Thinking (quite hard) about going up with a young lady I have known for a while

I do not like the idea of being in a bus be it VIP or not for hours on end

I do not mind getting a taxi to BKK and flying

Does anyone have any advice on this subject?

Thanks in advance

Probably saves you 3 ish hours I guess.

Taxi to Suvarnibhumi, or minibus

Direct flight by Thai to Khon Kaen

Total, maybe 3000 baht each.

Or direct bus.

Chan Tour

437

Around 600 baht each

As they say: up to you

Guys appreciate the very prompt responses - Like the idea of the aeroplane and the price is reasonable - will talk to madam later

Thanks again

Chan tours can be very slow. My wife's daughter came Pattaya to Khon Kaen by Chan last week. For some unknown reason, other than being slow and stopping everywhere , took nearly 18 hours!!!!

Personally I prefer 407. Better route and faster

Not always our taste but the Thai g/f goes to Morchit then gets VIP double decker. 7 hours from Bangkok to the village a little South of Khon Kaen.

Free water, a free meal. Definitely less than 500 Baht.

Be aware that if you are traveling to the western side of Khon Kaen (Si Cham Pu or Chum Phere districts), you should take a Muang Loei bus, not Khon Kaen City.
