recommendations for a good hotel under 1,000thb in night bazaar area

Featured Replies

Friend coming to town this weekend and will need a good, clean, quiet hotel room walking distance from the night bazaar under 1,000thb and would appreciate recommendations. We used to recommend the Hotel M when it was Montri [@ 600/night], but they have upgraded and up priced [now @ 1.500/night].

any suggestions????

There is a small new hotel briwn buildinv call Mawin Hotel next to Rimping Iron Bridge directly opp the river market restaurant

I stayed there for 2 nights this year and its clean and with free wifi

Starts at 650 baht a night and great location

Forgot to add if your friend wants a quieter room and away from the noon sun ask for room 310 massive toilet and quiet as the balcony faces a residential area rather than the main road

I have visited a room in The Star Hotel and it looked comfortable and was in your price range. It is in the soi at the rear of Pantip Plaza and the tariff is about 750 baht a night.

The one Lawrence recommended is less than a year old. 5 minute walk to the Night Bazaar.

Just cross the river on the old Iron Bridger walk straight ahead across the street and you are there.

Well maybe 19 feet to the right.

Fx panerai best booked via Agoda best value for money deal in town. If promotion price below 500 bht on offer

Mums Place

Lux hotel http://www.luxhotelchiangmai.com/en/contactus.php

Five minutes walk up from Montri and turn left. (easy map on the website).

10 minutes walk to the night market.

Nice rooms, good size, fairly new, nice modern bathrooms, air-con, clean, and good security, 700 per room includes minimal breakfast, friendly helpful staff.

Worth a look.
