zoolander
Hi I am living in Thailand now and my current visa is an Non o multiple entry visa. I will not be renewing this visa. However, i would like to stay in Thailand for a further 9 months after my current visa expires. Can i go to Laos and get tourist visas for this time. Many thanks for any help you can give
lopburi3
Yes you should be able to obtain enough tourist visa entries from Thai Consulates in Laos to cover your planned stay - you might start with application for two entry from Vientiane. ubonjoe
Are you aware that you can do a border run just before your O visa expires and get another 90 day entry? A two entry visa would give you almost 6 months by extending each entry 30 days at immigration. Then a single entry to get another 90 days would do it. On what basis did you get the O visa? If for marriage you can get one in Savannakhet Laos. A multiple entry visa would be less costly overall than tourist visas and extensions.
