April 11, 200620 yr Author Ever heard of search engines? It took me 15 seonds to find the links for you, anything else Sir? Thanks Sierra for your sacastic reply Yes I did try the embassy web site first and they listed the usual government holidays But what I was trying to obtain from my fellow board members was some local knowledge considering the polictical events that are taking place in Thailand at the moment So I will ask again in 2 parts 1- will there be any voting next week 2- if so will the Embassy be closed
April 11, 200620 yr I guess that your phones don't work and you can't visit the embassy in person. Here's a hint: we're not your mommy.
April 11, 200620 yr The second link has the Embassy telephone number on the page, if anyone would know if the Embassy is closed on the 19th they will, call them.
April 12, 200620 yr What voting are you on about.... The Embassy should be open except for the days listed on the link given. And guys....some are more proficient then others when it comes to searching and using the net....the idea is to help others here and even the simplest answered question could be of assistance to some other people who are too embarrassed to ask themselves....no need for sarcasm eh ??? April 12, 200620 yr Well guys, be nice. The government recently decided that April 19 is declared as holiday for the Senatorial election. As many follow the government holidays it is possible the Australian Embassy will do the same.
