The reality is that these business travelers would have been met at the modern airport by a company rep, driver, and modern car/van. Only outdated, backward, inapplicable, negative realities for modern business travelers on expense accounts doing business-to-business transactions. -

It depends where you die, I know of 2 now that died here on KC, in 'my village' both were sent to BKK, you can't argue with the police, when they say it is the Law, yet you know it is not. At least I got the 5k receipt. -

ATM withdrawl limits?
I use Charles Schwab Bank which reimburses your ATM fees at end of month. The standard maximum is $1,000 per account withdrawal in one day. I have been told that you can negotiate a higher amount if needed. If for any reason I need additional money in a single day I maintain multiple accounts so that I can withdraw 30,000 Baht from each account. Of course this means separate ATM cards and an additional bank charge on each withdrawal, but you get the money back at the end of month. I only use this approach when I want to make larger cash purchases. Do not have a Thai bank account even though I have been a 6-month expat in Thailand for over 20 years. -

Neck and shoulder pains from computer mouse
Try different positions for mouse placement, directly in front of you rather than having to stretch arm outwards to the right (of left). Try different seating and seat heights or stand. These worked for me. -

ATM withdrawl limits?
My limit is 30K per transaction. If you want more you have to take your card out and start a new transaction then you can take out another 30K. I think the day limit is 300K, but I've never tried doing it 10 times over, I'm sure it would 'eat' my card. One point though is that I wanted to buy a car last year in BKK. I went with the dealer and my missus to pay for the car (over million baht). They two thais went to explain inside that we wanted to make a large withdrawal....they answer was fine, a cashier stood at the ATM while I inputted my data, and the transaction went through sending the money to the dealer's bank account. -

Biden was quite cogent and articulate in his SOTU address a few months before. As you should know, elderly people who are ill or in pain can be confused quite easily. His handlers did say he had a cold, from an exhausting travel schedule. Of course, that cuts no ice with the MAGA crowd, although any boo-boo from Trump is just more manna from heaven. -

Cheap Charlies blocked my review
There is at least one Chrome extension that makes FB bearable. FBP will allow you to hide a lot of the annoying stuff FB wants you to see so you can focus on the posts from your friends or groups that you choose to follow. Of course, like AN there are posters with questionable motives and weird interpretations of the world.
