where is the Thai passport office in BKK ?

Featured Replies

i need to apply for my daughters PP but have no idea where the office is to apply. thanks

and how long does it take to get one ??

i would like to go get it in person with her as shes 15.5

There's one at central shopping centre bang Na , top floor now I believe.

How long, several hours due to queues, the length depends on how many 'sponsored' are getting theirs that day.

3 offices in Bangkok, besides Bang Na yu can go to the Thai Conular department at Cheang wattana Road (not at the immigration building, but a big building with a lot of flags just before that soi. There is also one at Pinklao.

Waiting time is normally not very long, normally one is in and out within 30 minutes.

You can go with her in person, but unless you have sole custody the application must also be signed by the other parent.

Consular affairs building in chaeng wattana is fast.

Went there with a friend at 12 and out by 12:20.

It seems that they dont close for lunch.

Btw

All she needed was her Thai ID card with 13 digit number and 1000baht.

They take the photo there so dont have to bring any.

I went with the Mother-in-law and wife to the Passport Office at Tesco Lotus Pinklao - which was previously at government (can't remember the name of the ministry it belongs to) on the other side of the road.

Took less than 20 minutes to submit the forms.
