Where did all the bread go?

Featured Replies

Being Westerners, we like to have some toast and jam in the mornings. Normally we just pick up a loaf of local, mass produced whole wheat stuff. It's certainly not homemade but suffices.

However, over the past three days, we have looked at our normal food stores that we frequent only to find completely empty shelves. There are a few off brands that we don't prefer but the normal stuff (farm fresh? something similar to that?) is nowhere to be found.

Any ideas?

Cheers.

Rick's Bakery

Soi Khao Noi 13 (half way down the soi on the right).

Tel. 0871491723 (lady speaks English).

It's the bakery of Rick who passed away a few years ago due to a traffic-accident.

His wife keeps up the good work and good loafs of bread for years now.

Order 24 hours in advance and you'll have fresh loafs of bread at the times you want them.
