had good luck with the massage place opposite J Hotel, up their little soi.

From MacDonalds, same side of the street walk toward the beach about 50 meters, head up the little soi toward J Hotel (probably the tallest building right there, also i think there is a 'travelers bar" sign there)massage place will be on the end of the shop houses on the right.

Good luck with your back, back problems suck.

There are plenty of "massage"shop in the area, alternatively if you need a professional physio, which sounds as if you do.There is one on the river front in Krabi, opposite the outdoor evening restaurants
