Marigold (calendula) cream.

Featured Replies

I have to take bloodthinners and lately I have been suffering from - subcutaneous hematome - on my arms, from even the slightest bump.

Now it doesn't hurt and goes away in a couple of weeks, but sometimes my arms look like I have some kind of skin desease and I have even had

an instance where a woman looked at my arm, looked again and then moved well out of the way.

I know I could use long sleeved shirts but that's very uncomfortable here.

According to my research and confirmed by my cardiologist a calendula cream hastens the healing proces quite dramatically, i.e. 2 - 3 days instead of 2-3 weeks.

Have searched and searched in pharmacies (including Fascino and hospital pharmacies) unsuccessfully.

Does anyone know where I could find such a cream (postal order is out of the question for medecines here in Thailand) even in Bangkok ?

Sorry for the longish explanation but want to give as much info as possible to avoid unusefull replies.

Thanks beforehand.

Arnica is good for healing bruises if you can get it.

As I said in my OT posting medicines to Thailand is a no no.

Sending is no problem - arriving is out of the question.

Believe me I've tried before with other medication.

Arnica is a member of the calendula family.

(worst that happens is sometimes I have to collect from Post office, I've never had any problem in 6 years with recorded delivery)

As a follow up I managed to find a recipe for making Marigold cream yourself.

I did and it seems to work, mind you not spectaculary but it is an improvement.

In case anyone is interested send me a message and I'll be glad to share
