Month-long accommodation in Klong Toei

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

I will be working here: 136 Na Ranong @13.71194,100.558171 (type into google maps) in a few weeks and for the first month until I find my feet in Bangkok I'd like somewhere to stay nearby (very nearby) for a month.

The best thing I've found so far is Rompo Mansion for 11,500, but this is over my budget.

Can anyone recommend somewhere cheaper please? Comfort and cleanliness is very important, as is being in a vibrant but safe area. I'm not looking for anything luxurious, however.

Ideally 7,500 is the sort of money I'd like to spend.

Thank you!

Do a quick walkabout the area - likely lots of local Thai style places.

Toei Place is situated next to Sacred Heart Convent at the intersection of At Naranong, Rama 3, and Suthorn Kosa. It is cheaper than Rompo Mansion and about half of the price. I do not believe they have an internet presence. I could get their phone number and pass it along if you want to contact them directly for more information. The owner / manager speaks reasonable English.

Otherwise, you can get a shack in the 'locks' for about 500 a month if it suits you =)

It is BKK slum there, you can rent for 1000 THB.

Try soi sri bhumpen which runs parallel to rama iv. There should be plenty of places along there in the sub 10k range.
