I will be flying into one airport (from the U.S.) and immediately transferring to DMK for an Air Asia flight to Yangon the same day, returning to Thailand two weeks later to stay for 3-1/2 weeks. Is that a problem? Will I receive a free visa for each trip when I go through customs?

Thank you.

p.s..From the other forum, it sounds like 4-1/2 hours is enough to clear customs and transfer airports using the free shuttle, correct?

Yes, you will get 30 days visa exempt entry each time you enter Thailand by air. (presuming you do re-enter Thailand by air you have nothing to worry about visa wise. Do have your flight details ready for the flight to Myanmar when checking in at the airport in the US. They might ask about that.

4 and a half hours is a bit thight to clear immigraiton and customs, but greatly depends on the time of arrival. Don't forget that you also need to check-in on time at Don Muang, so you will have actually less than 4 and a half hours if you didn't already took that in consideration.

It is certainly possible, but do hope your flight won't get delayed.
