American-type Mousetraps

Featured Replies

Would anyone happen to know where I can get the kind of mousetraps I used to get in the USA. They are a small, flat maybe three inches by four inches piece of wood with a spring attached. The mouse eats a piece of food place in the trap and then the spring snaps and breaks the mouse's neck. I can't find them anywhere in Thailand. I have gone to Home Pro. Tesco, Foodland, Big C. We have a serious mice problem in our house and the glue no longer works because they now know what it is and avoid it. Poison sometimes works but the mice die in places that you can't access and they emit a terrible smell after a few days.

this is available

Inside the market on South Pattaya road, (opposite Temple) Go around to shop inside selling cups plates etc, they have them.

Pretty much any "Market" that sells plastic household junk has them except they are made from plastic and not wood.

^^ The ones above work well. Use hotdog from 7/11

the two hardware shops on thepprasit road next to the fishing tackle shop has them

You can get the more industrial traps like in the U.S. although made of metal instead of wood for about 25 baht at the local outside markets. They work great. Do watch out when you set the traps the metal sharks bit pretty hard if you set them wrong.
