Where to buy world map in Pattaya?

I want to buy a decent size world map, something I can pin to the back of a door. Reason is, the GF is always asking where is such and such country, and there's not much point in saying "next to Croatia" when she doesn't know where Croatia is.

Haven't been there for years, but is there still a bookshop on Soi Post Office, that's where I got mine. If not there's the bookshop on 3 or 4th floor of Central or ground floor of Tuk Com may be worth looking

paste this in to Google & you will have a host of them

''giant laminated world map''

It ends up costing a fortune in postage to buy from overseas.

No world map available in Thailand. Thailand is the world and beyond there is nothing. Thais don't even know where is China, so why should they know where is Croatia.

Anyway, to the OP, there used to be maps for sale upstairs in Friendship, i bought one a few years back, it was not laminated as such but made of a plastic type material.

I have never seen anyone buy one and wondered if there was a market for them but hang around on a deck chair on Pattaya beach as there are usually some vendors trying to flog world maps.

I have seen plenty selling laminated maps of Thailand, but never a world map.

Not sure about Pattaya specifically, but those Se-Ed bookstores you see in department stores usually have maps.

Yep, also in Pattaya. Many different educational posters including maps, I think 20 baht or so each, very cheap anyway.

The Stationery store Silpaban up the road from Foodland on Central Rd. supplies schools and had many educational posters, they have a branch in Naklua opposite soi 16 too I think
