August 17, 201313 yr I want to buy a decent size world map, something I can pin to the back of a door. Reason is, the GF is always asking where is such and such country, and there's not much point in saying "next to Croatia" when she doesn't know where Croatia is.

August 17, 201313 yr Haven't been there for years, but is there still a bookshop on Soi Post Office, that's where I got mine. If not there's the bookshop on 3 or 4th floor of Central or ground floor of Tuk Com may be worth looking

Anyway, to the OP, there used to be maps for sale upstairs in Friendship, i bought one a few years back, it was not laminated as such but made of a plastic type material.

August 18, 201313 yr I have never seen anyone buy one and wondered if there was a market for them but hang around on a deck chair on Pattaya beach as there are usually some vendors trying to flog world maps.

August 18, 201313 yr The Stationery store Silpaban up the road from Foodland on Central Rd. supplies schools and had many educational posters, they have a branch in Naklua opposite soi 16 too I think
