Japanese Man 'Drugged And Robbed' In Pathumthani

Featured Replies

Expect a statement from TAT shortly that this will in no way affect tourism in Pathumthani.

Other than Dream World, does tourism exist in Pathum Thani?

"Doctors at the hospital said he had been drugged, his money stolen, before the suspects left him at the bus stop"

Please note that it is the doctors that have determined what happened to the victim, not the police. Unless the doctors are cross-trained at crime prevention, have CCTV coverage to back up the allegations or have eye witnesses at the scene, I think this is pretty much second party guesswork at this stage of the game.

How can they tell it was more than one "suspect", bruise marks on the ankles and under the arms?

EDIT: As much as I do have respect for the medical services here in Thailand, there are apparently times when they stray from their scope of expertise...................wink.png

arguably the medical staff may have more in the way of coommmon sense than the old bill here

Yes, some debating required I think.

It's sad to see many examples of this cowardly way of robbery,, what it the victim had an allergy or reaction to the drug and died ? it's a terrible way to inflict pain and grief, i really hope bad karma befalls the perpetrators of this crime, bad things will happen to you i hope, stop doing this to innocent people.
