Where to stay nearby Laksi/Chaengwattana

Featured Replies

I'll be moving to Bangkok next month to start my new job with NXP Semiconductors which is located at Chaengwattana Soi 1 nearby the Laksi intersection. Just wondering where would be the best place to stay with easy access to public transportation or what would be the easiest way to go there if i were to stay nearby any of the MRT/BTS stations

re transpo: it is right beside a TRAIN station-laksi, with slow trains-mainly peak hours, slowly trndling along, from Hualampong, Samsen, bang Sue (MRT connection) onward to rangsit&beyond.

Buses go by the dozen per minute and its for you obviously contra flow=less busy- 29, 510 and many vans from Mochit BTS/MRT, taking 20 mins or so

All along Ch Wattana-as it has now that giant govmt. centre, are many condo's, new and under build, again frequent buses run/speed along it. 150 serves the whole length of that road, which also has several main shopping centres.

in that area there are many places to rent and also in the area if ngam wan road, prachaniwet 1, areas near kaset university and around major racthayothin, all near where you have to work so not much travelling
