JackRyan Posted August 22, 2013 Share Posted August 22, 2013 My Thai wife and I are currently living in Australia. We have a daughter between us and my wife has permanent residence here. We may have sold our house in Bangkok and I just want to know if there will be any problems with my wife transferring the money out. The funds for the original purchase for the house were transferred in by me from my Australian account. The house and of course the land were purchased in my wife's name. Will it be a straight forward matter of just sending the money to her bank account here in Australia? I suspect that there will be hoops to jump through. Has anyone here done this before?
