Man those pilots earned their money doing that. I dip my hat to them.

Great vid

I would have hated to be on a couple of the flightssad.png

There is no Airbus 380 not any 4-engine plane on the embedded video

OOPS -- BTW when a plane lands in a cross wind with its nose pointed off center to the runway to compensate for the drift it is called a CRAB angle.

Loos more like a CRAP angle, but then I am scared of flying.

Maybe you upload wrong video, no A380. Nice vid though, agree, gotta tip one's hat to the FD crew crabbing in like that.

been in worse coming into Phuket real nightmare

Now this is an A380 extreme cross wind testing.

Normal versus cross wind A380 landings.

Not a 380 but sure does bounce nicely. biggrin.png

Thanks OP for the weight loss...now I must change to a fresh pair of diapers.

watched a second time with what you said in mind...neat..didn't know that smile.png

That QANTAS one needed a lot of rudder to yaw just before landing didn't it.

Plane spotters are sad people with no money or passport !. What kind of sad idiot go's to the airport on a windy or rainy day with his camera, if he isn't getting on a plane ?.

Trolls are sad people with no mates or personality! What kind of sad idiot spends time on an anonomous forum proving it?

I think the best term would be enthusiasts. I remember going to the airport to watch airplanes take off and land as a kid, before I became a pilot.

That's why they earn the big bucks
