The family of a US college student who disappeared while on a trip to Spain has issued an urgent appeal for information, as police continue their investigation in Barcelona. James “Jimmy” Gracey, a 20-year-old student at the University of Alabama, was last seen in the early hours of Tuesday morning outside the Shoko nightclub in the Port Olímpic area of Barcelona. Family describes ‘out of character’ disappearanceIn a statement, the family described Gracey as “kind, responsible, and devoted,” adding that it was highly unusual for him not to remain in contact. “He is completely out of character for not checking in with family and friends,” they said, urging anyone with information to come forward.
