JoeLeTaxi
I plan a bicycle trip to the Three Pagoda Pass. Return would be over Si Sawat. On this area I lack some information. I would leave the main road 323 (Kanchanaburi – Sangkhlaburi) at Chalae sub-district and take the rural road 3183 to finally end up at the Na Suan ferry on the Sri Nakharin Lake (near Wat Somdet). My questions are the following: 1. The situation of this Rural Road 3183. 2. Is there any lodging on the west bank of the lake in the vicinity of the ferry? The same question for the east bank. 3. The working hours of the Na Suan ferry. Much appreciated if somebody with knowledge on this area could answer my questions.
Ikankayak
1. Sorry never been on that road. 2. You can stay at Huay Mae Khamin National Park for 300 Baht Per person in a cabin or 220 for a tent and extra for a charcoal BBQ. 3. The ferries leave from early morning until the late afternoon and leave when there are enough customers. 60 Baht for my car - so less for a bicycle.
