Can anyone confirm if Phoenix Golf Course been bought by Shinawatra family? Is the planned resort to accomodate and focus on Korean golf tours? If so maybe it's time to start investing in and around that locale, So ................. Interesting replies anticipated,

I've heard the same thing regarding which clan has bought Phoenix. The stuff about the resort is news to me.

Good questions. Inquiring minds need to know. As far as i know, its encroaching case is still before the courts. At least until the statute of limitations runs out. This is a let's-not-make-waves-in-case-it-comes-back-to-bite-us issue.

seems like land plots are already sectioned in preparation for building ......... B5m a plot or thereabouts! That clan certainly knows about making money so will be intrigued to know more

I think all they have done is clear out some rubbish and label the old plots with signs indicating whether they are bank owned or Phoenix GC owned.

The new rumor is not the Shin clan, but a developer. Seems the staff has been replaced also, but don't have any details on that.

It will be interesting to see if they (whoever "they" turn out to be) will do something about the clubhouse. I never understood why the original owners felt the need to build that huge, empty barn.
