Good places to go between Bangkok and Ko Pha Ngan

Featured Replies

We're travelling south from Bangkok to Ko Pha Ngan over a few days. Just wondering if there are any good places to stop over or things to see and do.

Cheers all :)

Hua Hin is a nice place to stop and sleepover. You get a taste of the beach and there are a few good street restaurants on the main shopping street.

Have a nice tripthumbsup.gif

Are you going by public transport? If so, it's a lot more complicated, but not impossible to see some places.

Hua Hin is definitely worth a night or so. I like Bang Saphan, Ban Kruit, and Ao Khanom.

The Janson Hot spa health resort right on the main road has 2 great natural hot pools ( one for males, one for females) an a outdoor cold pool

Hotel is a bit run down but still great deal

Also if u go to the park up the road they have hot springs where u can boil ur own eggs :-)

Prachup Khiri khan has some nice beach side bungalows

Best restaurants in Hua Hin are over the water
