PATTAYA: -- Khun Kwanchai, a Senator and Chairman of the Natural Resources and Environment Committee was in the Na-Jomtien Beach area on Thursday to investigate 12 separate cases of illegal encroachment on to public land along Na-Jomtien Beach.

The cases first came to the attention of the committee in 2010 and Khun Kwanchai now wants the cases to be resolved without delay but would like to negotiate in a civil manner with the owners of the illegal constructions before reporting the cases to Police.

Only 12? I know that place in the pic. There are a bunch on either side of the Ambassador. They just abandon them during the low season and they look terrible.

so taken three years to get on it, but now want to resolve without delay. Right. Negotiate? What? Tea money is only thing to negotiate. Don't want to get police involved, and share that cuppa tea money.....

Negotiate in a civil manner with peeps that have broken the law? Alice in Wonderland material.
