Keep seeing a western women always dressed in black clothes walking on the side of the road from Chaweng all the way to Lamai. Later in the day I see her walking back - its not a one off either I can virtually guarantee to see her every day.

Yes, I think I've seen her. She's been doing this for years I think.

I take the songthaew from Chaweng to Lamai every day and I see her often.

Maybe she's just trying to achieve her recommended 10 000 daily steps.

I'd like to know too. Had a few chats with her over the years. First time I stopped to ask about her, she didn't reply. But she seemed to remember me subsequently and took a bit of a liking to me. A bit embarrassing when I was with my girlfriend and she would try to pull me away, but I was always nice with her. Whenever she was acting 'upset' on the street and she saw me, she would stop until I walked past and then start again after I left.
