^^^ E as in the letter E. Tan as in...as in...hmmmm...short sounding a as in rambutan! Not Ram as in

Dodge Ram but like Rah-Rah sis boom bah. Bu as in Boo. Tan as in...darn...same thing again but not

like as it would be pronounced in suntan. The letter A has an aspirated sound...like ahhhh....as in the

Malay & Singaporean...OK lah. Or Lah Dee Dah....Best I can do...

These things are rather amazing.

Thanks for the explanation about the pronunciation.

OK, next question

What kind of gas mileage do they get, in general ? I think I understand they may have different engines and of course carry different loads.

And it looks like manual transmission -- mostly 4 or 5 speed ?

Great photos !

Can't help you with the mileage but all the ones that I've seen are 3 speed.
