Lickey
The only time you will catch them is after they have took your blood, then they are full and slow, clap your hands on a mossie and see the blood,

teatree
Without the use of an electric bat the best way is to grab at them with soapy hands. As long as you're pretty close to them they usually get stuck on the suds.
yourauntbob
my sister used to live here and teach the preschoolers. when she taught them the work mosquito she would always clap her hands together. by the end of the year when she would say "mosquito" the whole class of 4 year olds would (loudly) do a single clap the cutest thing i ever saw. itchybum
I catch them alive, pull their legs off and let them go. I get hours of enjoyment from this sitting back, wondering how they are getting on. . Edited September 4, 2013 by itchybum

Gsxrnz
It's only the female mozzies that bite - typical! If they've already gotten into you, don't swat them. Stretch your skin and they can't withdraw their proboscis and get their tank overfilled. Then they die of internal haemorrhage and fall off dead. Payback is a bitch.
